Helping Today. Helping Tommorow
WOSID Nigeria Limited (Women for Sustainable Impact and Development) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women and girls through education, skill acquisition, capacity building, and community development initiatives.
Founded on the belief that women are central to sustainable progress, WOSID has spent the past several years impacting lives across communities in Nigeria—creating opportunities, amplifying voices, and breaking cycles of poverty through strategic interventions and partnerships.

WOSID proudly commissioned a Borehole Facility in Appiawei Community
As part of our commitment to giving back and supporting the communities that support us, WOSID proudly commissioned a Borehole Facility in Appiawei Community, a region that graciously hosts one of our farms.
This initiative aims to provide clean and accessible water to the local residents—especially the women and children—who often bear the burden of fetching water over long distances. Through this project, we’re not just providing a basic need; we’re fostering health, dignity, and opportunity for the women we stand for.
Why It Matters
Water is life, and access to clean water means fewer illnesses, better hygiene, and more time for women and girls to pursue education and economic activities. This is more than a project—it’s a step toward sustainable development and community empowerment.

Rural Farmer.... Mama, we really thank you for the seedlings you gave us....the groundnut, maize and beans we collected would have helped us a lot. However, we had problems with pests, right from when we started planting the groundnut. As a result of this, we did not have a good harvest. We are sorry for disappointing you.We are not lazy and we pray for a better harvest next planting season.May God grant us sound health and long life
